YOUSU PA6-CF nylon filament 1.75mm is made of 85% PA and 15% chopped carbon fibers. The carbon fiber reinforcement really provides significantly improved stiffness, strength and heat resistance with outstanding layer adhesion. Strong, durable and features an excellent heat resistance. It can be used in applications requiring torsional, tensile, and impact strength such as bicycle pedals, brackets, jigs, ESD safe fixtures, drone frame, prosthetics or handles.

【Reinforced Carbon Fiber Nylon】 PA6-CF nylon filament is based on nylon 6 material and uses carbon fiber reinforcement (15% carbon fiber + 85% nylon) to improve the overall performance, hardness, rigidity, excellent toughness, and heat resistance with outstanding layer adhesion.
【Excellent Heat Resistance】The extremely stable structure of PA6 carbon fiber makes it have excellent heat resistance & high-temperature resistance and excellent interlayer adhesion. Its heat deformation temperature can reach 145℃ (Tg: 145℃), which makes the PA6-CF filament not warp or deform even at a high temperature of 145℃.
【Wide Application】PA6 nylon filament 1.75mm has good mechanical properties, is lightweight, has excellent chemical resistance, super wear resistance, toughness, excellent strength, and stiffness, and it has a tolerance of only +/- 0.02mm, water absorption only 0.1%. So it can be widely used in the automotive industry, aerospace industry, industrial manufacturing, and other fields

YOUSU PA6-CF 3D FILAMENT, as a composite and abrasive filament, carbon fiber filaments will destroy your standard
brass nozzles. The carbon fibers are tougher than the brass, and will decimate it in no time at all. Therefore, for carbon fiber 3D printing, you’ll need either a hardened steel nozzle, or even a ruby-tipped nozzle. We advice use 0.6mm or bigger nozzle. Before printing, no matter it is new openned or not, we advice to dry it at the temperture of 60-80℃ about 6-8 hours to avoid moisture. Also, we advice use closed box printer which can have constant temperature control system is better.
1.75mm and 2.85mm +/- 0.05mm in diameter
Extruder: 260-290°C
Bed Temp: 80-110°C
Nozzle: We recommend a hardened steel nozzle with a minimum diameter of 0.4mm
Other: Ideal layer height is 60% of nozzle diameter. We do not recommend printing layers smaller than 0.2mm with carbon fiber reinforced filaments.
Heated Chamber: Not required, but a heated chamber between 30-80°C allows for superior layer bonding and mechanical properties
Drying Instructions: 90°C for 4 hours.
